2nd Week of Chicken.
I thought that this week of chicken was easier than last week; however, I liked the dry cooking methods better than the moist cooking methods. Don’t get me wrong, there were things this week that I did like and enjoy.
I didn’t like the poaching method. I think that when you poach chicken it looks yucky! Also, my groups didn’t really taste like too much. I also didn’t like the braising method. This method made the chicken look soggy, but it did taste good. I just think that the appearance was a turn off at first.
My favorite was the stewing!!!!!!! It was delicious. I can’t believe that the ingredients were so simple, I think I’m going to have to try to make it sometime. Oh, and en papioute (please, don’t mind the spelling) was really cool. I had never cooked anything that way and it was good.
I can’t wait until next week to start fish. I know we have to fabricate them, but do they come with the heads on? Ewww! =) ?
